This is a book of 8 school rules that I had my grade one FI students complete. The book needs to be copies, cut horizontally in half, folded, and stapled in the middle to make small booklets. The students circle the correct word and then draw a picture of how to follow the rule.
You can teach the rules ahead of time and have them complete the book on their own or you do the book together as a class and talk about each rule and what it means.
The last couple of pages of the book are blank. You can use them to write other rules specific to your class if you wish, or you can leave them blank. I have not put borders on these blank pages in order to avoid confusion (e.g., What am I supposed to do on this page?).
You can have students bring this home to practice French reading as well.
