Many times, students get very overwhelmed by looking at multiplication tables and trying to memorize all of the facts. Since introducing my class to their facts set up like this, they have mastered their facts faster than I have ever seen.
With only listing 36 equations, students use the commutative property. I have included three levels of using this chart. The first page has the chart completely filled in, the second chart has the factors and a spot to fill in the blank for the factors, and the third page just has empty columns for each of the times tables for students to fill in.
