This is the 9th lesson in my study skills unit --Organized Workspace. This lesson is in PPT format and has lesson notes at the bottom of each slide. Direct Instruction of study skills teaches students to take charge of their learning and gives them the strategies to use to succeed academically.
Students must habituate good study skills. To do this, they need consistent skills support at school and at home. Use this lesson, and the others on my TPT page, to build your own study skills program and lessons. Be sure to check out the correlating guided notes for this lesson to promote active listening during instruction.
In this lesson, students will:
-State the elements of a productive home workspace
-List the supplies you need at your workspace to maximize productivity and efficiency
-Critique your own workspace for productivity and efficiency.
