Product Description
In this lesson, students will differentiate between arithmetic and geometric sequences. They will be given two options for salary distribution at a job: one option represents an arithmetic sequence, and the other option represents a geometric sequence. Students will use Microsoft Excel to investigate the growth of each pattern.

This resource includes a detailed lesson plan with a bell ringer exercise, discussion questions, and an exit slip. A handout with detailed instructions will also guide students as they create their Excel graphs. Finally, a worksheet that allows students to summarize their data is included (with answer key).
