Student note guide to the PowerPoint lesson IV in the "Electricity and Magnetism" Unit VI - introductory physics. This lesson identifies the effects of magnetic forces and how magnetic poles interact; describes magnetic field lines around a magnet; and explains how and why materials become magnetized.
