Includes a brief review of isotopes, mass number, atomic number, as well as shorthand notation. Your students will be able to differentiate between the properties of alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. The bell ringer (warm up) serves to activate prior knowledge about radiation and aids the teacher in addressing misconceptions. The bell ringer also functions as the student exit ticket!
