An integrated Science and English Language Arts lesson plan regarding life cycles and sequencing. Given pictures of a frog’s life, students will sequence them and retell and model the correct stages of the frog’s life cycle. It is a guided learning lesson in which students will learn new vocabulary and new reading techniques. They will then have an opportunity to work individually to see if they have grasped the concepts taught.
Materials needed but not included are: From Tadpole to Frog by Wendy Pfeffer (but any other informational text about the life cycle of a frog would work as well).
