I searched forever for a lesson plan template that I liked, and ended up taking features from others and making my own.
This lesson plan follows the 4A model.
The first page allows for a quick overview of the lesson. Using this template with my lessons, it really helps having this when I'm prepping the unit. All I have to do is read the front page for the quick version, and all the details are on the back page.
The front page includes space for:
- Lesson Title
- SLO (Specific Learning Objective)
- BO (Behavioural Objective)
- Where are we coming from?
- Where are we headed?
- Bloom's Taxonomy
- Multiple Intelligences
- Reflection Questions (What went well, What didn't go well, What do I need to change)
The back sections provide the space for Acquire, Activate, Apply and Assessment. This is where I type of the detail of my lesson. Sometimes the labels for the section don't show up in word while you're typing, but they will print afterwards.
Any improvements and suggestions are welcome!
