Product Description
The objective of this lesson plan is to get students to question (1) why students are uniquely drawn to activism, (2) why college campuses our special breeding grounds for political engagement, And (3) what experiences may spur "Critical consciousness."

This is a good lesson to include in a unit exploring political issues such as paying college athletes, punishing college students for political activism, censorship, administrative responsibility, and race.

High School and college English, History, and Social Studies are great courses in which to include this lesson.
