Product Description
Lesson on two short works by Mark Twain, "Sociable Jimmy" and "A True Story," the latter of which represents an actual epiphany in the life of young Samuel Clemens about how blacks love their children just as much as whites do (not something many Southern whites believed at that time), an epiphany that Huck also has in Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Both pieces also relate to Twain's ear for dialect and helps students continue to develop their understanding of the different dialects Twain uses.
