This lesson was created for a Spanish I class at the end of the year as an activity fill in during PARCC testing. Although it was a fill-in fun activity it targets a lot of review as well as current curriculum goals. The activity includes three lessons or activities for students to complete while watching the Perfect Game movie. The first lesson requires students to use their Spanish I skill set to describe specific characters in the movie. The second lesson requires students to read descriptions that target various grammar and vocabulary themes (identification, description, present tense regular and irregular verb conjugations, acabar de, doler, and the preterite). The 3rd lesson is a grammar activity that focuses on preterite practice. The sentences are based on the movie and students must choose the correct preterite verb conjugation based on the context of the sentence. The third lesson is multiple choice.
