These lesson plans are meant for the first week of school when teaching your rules and procedures to students. These activities may either be used as 5 centers for one day, or you may use these activities throughout the week. This is what is included.
Situation Task Cards: There are 10 cards that each have different scenarios. These cards are multiple choice and students will work together to decide the best response.
“Say What?” Board Game: This game includes a game board. It also includes 28 cards. Students will draw a card and tell whether the best response is please, excuse me, or thank you.
Manners Pictionary: This activity come with 32 cards that contain recommended manners. Students will be in teams while drawing out each of these manners. I have included a page with 4 other activities that these “manners” cards may be used.
Manners “What Should Have Been Done?”: These are prompts for group discussions. There are 8 cards with more detailed scenarios. Students will discuss what should have been done.
Manners Poems: Students will create a poem about manners. This includes a directions page with an example poem and a worksheet where students will write their poem.
Manners Test: Is a 13 question test that includes all of the topics discussed in these plans.
Poster that includes 32 top manners.
Certificates of completion in 5 different colors.
***I have included blank cards for all activities that involve cards if you wish to add more scenarios.
Note: All activities come in color and black & white. If you choose to print the black & white version, I would print on bright colorful paper.
