Describe A Snowman: Using Adjectives
Label A Snowman
Word Work: Long Vowel Sort. Students will pick a picture and decide which snow hat it belongs with. They will then complete their worksheet with words or pictures.
Games: Roll, Color, Read Sentences and Letters—students will roll, color and read simple sentences or letters depending on their level.
Stamping: Students will pick a snowball. They will then stamp the word onto their paper.
Read the Room: Students will find snowbirds hidden around the room. They will read the words and decide if it is a long vowel or short vowel. Then record them on their recording sheet.
Snowball Fight: Addition Game: Students will match the snowball to the correct polar bear.
Snowman Domino Addition: Students will pick a domino. They will then record it on their sheet. Then they will write the equation and the answer.
Snow Bird Bump: Directions: Start with 10 markers. Roll the dice. Add the numbers. Place one of your markers on that space. If the other player has only 1 marker there, you can "bump“ him/her off of the space. When you get 2 markers on a space, it is "locked" and you cannot be bumped from it.
