You are a busy teacher. Why not let me take one task off of your plate? I will design and letter your nametags and then send you the file--ready to print!
Teaching time is precious in today's classrooms. Let your desktags take over some of the handwriting instruction for you!
Reference graphics that support Common Core Standards appear on each tag.

-- 3D geometric figures with labels
-- US coin graphics, with name and value labels (penny - dollar)
Bonus sheets, featuring desk-size 100 and 200 Charts, Multiplication Matrices, and "Count-By" cards (i.e. 3, 6, 9, etc.) are also included.
HERE'S ALL YOU HAVE TO DO:
Purchase and download the order form.
Return the order form info by email (including your font and style choices and class list names), and WITHIN 24 HOURS, I will send you a ready-to-print PDF file that will look totally sharp in your classroom!
Trust me--all of the other teachers will be soooooo jealous!
When you purchase this file, you will download the order form and ready-to-print sheets that contain multiple copies of other reference tools you might like to have for your students' desks or folders. Within 24 hours (sometimes, a lot less), I will send the completed PDF File back to you, ready for printing. I will also include additional blank nametags that you can hand-letter for new students who "drop in".
YOU'RE PROBABLY WONDERING....
Q: Why would I order this before the new school year even starts?
A: You have so much on your mind! Do it now, so you won't have to remember later. When you are ready to order the custom names, simply download (or re-download) the order form from your TpT Order History and you are good to go!
Q: What if I get new students during the year?
A: Send me the new names and I will email the new files to you at no charge!
Q: What if you send me my desktags, but I find out that a student goes by a nickname? Even worse--what if I (gasp!) made a mistake in the spelling of a student's name?
A: No problem. Send me an email and I'll send you replacements at no charge!
Q: I don't have a color printer. How can I make this work for me?
A: If your school or business has a printer, perhaps you can use that. Office Supply Stores (Office Depot, Office Max, Kinkos, and others) can print the files for you--at a very reasonable price. Many of these businesses offer great discounts for teachers! You can email the file to them or bring it in on a thumb-drive. They will print to your specifications. You can choose the color, finish, and weight of the paper that is used.
Q: I have a color printer, but I don't want to use all of my ink! What then?
A: Surprisingly, these desktags do not use a lot of ink. Since the background is white, and the colorful images are small, it is not a huge drain on your ink cartridges. This is also something a parent might be happy to do for you. Just put out the word at Back-To-School Night, in your newsletter, or on your class' Facebook page. I find that the moms and dads who are not able to physically help out in the classroom are often very pleased to do these types of "tech tasks".
Q: How durable are these desktags?
A: I always laminate my desktags and they stay in good shape throughout the year. If it is available, I choose cardstock to print on. I have also used plain bond paper and run it through the laminator. It holds up just as well!
Q: I do not have access to a laminator. How can I make this work for me?
A: You can fasten the tags to the desk and then cover the surface with packing tape, clear contact paper, or book spine tape. Lamination services are available at most office supply stores.
Q: Can I choose the font?
A: There are seven basic styles that are available, and you can make one of four style choices. They include Traditional Printing (with and without trainer arrows), D'Nealian-like Modern Manuscript (with or without trainer arrows), and Cursive (with or without trainer arrows), and a few quirky or fancy styles of lettering.
Samples are featured in in pictures and are clearly displayed on the order form.
Q: I have a certain theme in my classroom. Can you make me a template to match?
A: Email me at email@example.com and we can probably work something out.
If you have any other questions, you can email me directly or ask me via the “Ask the Seller” option on TpT.
