Product Description

With this resource, young learners will have the opportunity to demonstrate their number-sense by building their own 5-frame when a numeral is presented to them.

This product contains four sets of ten objects divided into St. Patrick's Day themes:

• Orange frame: pots of gold
• Gold frame: gold coins
• Sky blue frame: rainbows
• Blue frame: rain clouds

Select the cards you wish to have your students practice. Laminate, cut out and post at various locations around the room. (Alternatively, the cards may be placed into a container for use at a learning center.)

Each task card has a numeral from 1-5 on it. Your students will search the room for the cards. When located, they will copy the numeral onto the space provided on their recording sheet and then fill in the 5-frame with that quantity.
