I am very lucky to teach at a school with a lot of volunteers made
up of parents and local community members. Unfortunately, I have
not always been as prepared as I should be when a volunteer comes to my classroom to help with teacher tasks or to work with students. Not being organized meant I had to leave my students and gather materials or explain the activity to the volunteer. Well, not anymore!
This packet is full of resources to help you organize, prepare, and plan for a volunteer. Most of the pages included in the packet come in color and black and white versions for your printing preferences.
Here’s what is included:
Volunteer Sign Up forms (whole class forms and individual forms)
Tent Cards to use at Orientation or Meet the Teacher Night
Weekly Volunteer Schedule form for teacher
Volunteer Reminder form to send home
Volunteer To-Do Lists
Class List form
Binder and Folder Covers
Volunteer Tub Signs
Gift tags for volunteer gifts
Thank you cards for volunteers
Some of the forms are editable in power point!
This file is a compressed zip file and will need to be unzipped so the files can be extracted. If you are unsure how to do this, search for a tutorial on youtube. It's super simple to do!
