Let’s Clip Easter Eggs provides children the opportunity to practice matching and discrimination as well as comparing and contrasting skills while having fun. Fine motor control is also promoted as by clipping, finger muscles are strengthened.
The activity is intended for preschool but it can be used with older children as well according to individual needs. It fits perfectly in a Montessori classroom and can also be used by Special Education and homeschooling.
You can either print, cut and laminate the cards and then ask the children to use clothespins to pin the correct answer or as a different exercise you can just laminate the page and use it with white board markers. Children can just circle the correct answer!
There are 174 cards of a large variety of colored Easter eggs in different designs and combinations for 2 matching exercises:
1. Find and clip the egg that matches the egg on the first row and
2. Find and clip the odd one out.
