Product Description

When they created the Constitution, the Framers were fearful that their new political experiment - the United States - would end in a monarchy. After all, escaping the British monarchy was the very reason the patriots had fought long and hard in the American Revolution. In order to prevent an American king from coming to power, the Framers included provisions for impeachment in the Constitution. Let's Discuss Impeachment is an unbiased, nonpolitical, and nonpartisan approach at the history, process and implications of impeachment. Includes sources and Constitutional articles that apply to impeachment. The easy question and answer format allows an instructor to easily create short answer assessments. Also includes presidential and senatorial oaths. Written for upper elementary school grades, middle school grades and higher. A companion 20 question True/False quiz and answer key is also available on this site.
