This fun shopping, self-correcting game encourages children to identify different coins and their worth. The game is self-correcting so if your students choose the wrong answer, the game will allow them to go back to the question and choose the correct answer. Follow the yellow cloud bubble in the bottle right corner to go through the game. Make sure the bubble is clicked precisely, not next to, and that the pictures are clicked, not next to the picture.
This game has 4 types of questions. The first gives students a coin value and they have to determine which coin it is; the second type of question shows 2, 3, or 4 coins and asks students to add the value of the coins; the third type of question gives the student the total amount and one coin and they have to determine what the other coin is; and the fourth type of question gives money in a piggy bank that has to be added to see which item they can buy.
Instructions are clearly written on each slide.
I do encourage you to play the game first to familiarize yourself with the flow and movement of the game as well as the images and prices.
