Product Description
Let’s Go on an Egg Hunt! Conceptual Terms and Prepositions

66 total cards: 54 skill cards with eggs (preposition/conceptual term NOT printed on card), 18 skills cards with eggs and basic concept printed ON the card, and 6 Bonus Game Cards.

Targets: location and spatial concepts! Have students answer the question, “Where is the egg?”

1) Cut out the cards and use as flash cards or in a game….or you can keep the cards in tact on the pages and use as worksheets or on SmartBoards/Interactive Whiteboards! (Note: If using on a SmartBoard, you can’t move objects; however students could circle, write on, or use other tools)

2) Students tell where the Easter egg is using spatial concepts/location words and also specific details. Ex: “The blue egg is BELOW the purple tulip.” (You can have students work on just the spatial concepts/location words and/or using specific details.)

**Location words and Spatial Concepts targeted: on, in/inside of, between/in the middle of/in the center of, behind of/in back of, in front of, above/below/over/under, beside/next to/to the right of/to the left of.

Uses:
**Use as a Game: Use skill cards and the bonus game cards to play a game! Cut out all of the cards, place all cards plus game cards in a pile/box/bag. Students pick cards. If they pick a skill card, they tell where the egg is. If they pick a game card, they either Go Again, or Put 1 Card Back! See who has the most cards at the end!!!!

**If using on an Interactive WhiteBoard (SmartBoard), use as an enlarged document/worksheet. Students can take turns expressively telling where the egg is...or…the teacher/clinician can describe where the egg is and the student must point to the correct card! PDF’s can also be used on tablets for paperless sessions!!! Understand that the items on the PDF are not ‘movable’ on a Smartboard or Tablet, but it can still be nice to project the pdf for larger groups to view.

**If using as a worksheet, have students:
*Write the spatial concept word in the box or on a separate/blank page of paper
*Tell where the egg is as they look at each box
*Point to correct boxes as the adult describes (“Find the egg that is between two baskets”)
*Great for homework or games to send home too!
