These are great hands on, interactive activities for your students. Students will have fun matching and lacing as they practice important skills. Included in this pack are eight Let’s Lace up cards for Language Arts; two each of opposites, synonyms, homophones, and compound words. Students really enjoy doing these activities, and they are especially helpful for those who learn best doing hands-on activities.
The cards are really a fun way of completing the basic matching activity that we do all the time. Instead of using pencil and paper, the students use string to join the items on each column together. The string will match the answer sheet on the back if they are laced correctly. These cards can be used for your students who finish early or to practice skills independently that were taught previously.
They are easy to use: just copy on card stock, fold in half, punch holes in the black spots, get your string and off you go; a fun, easy, interactive product for your centers that you can print and use forever! I have also included 2 blank lace up cards so that you can make your own. A detailed instruction sheet is included in the download.
If you have suggestions for other cards you would like me to make you can email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
