Money! Money! Money! We all need it and need to start somewhere to learn to identify and count coins! This fun learning unit has 5 centers dedicated to help students learn to identify coins (sorry, there is no half-dollar coin included in this unit! Please be aware of this before you purchase!) and to count coins up to $1.00.
The centers included are:
Case of the Missing Lunch Money:scoot game to identify coins front and back (differentiated sheets for your learners included).
Rollin' In the Money: Roll coin cubes and graph the coins. Includes a cube for front, back, and mixed coin side recognition.
Everything is Equal! Count the coins on each card and match it to the correct piggy bank. There are 4 cards showing equal amounts.
We LOVE Garage Sales: Put counting money to good use! Bargain shop and learn to count coins.
Pizza Parlor: An ADORABLE mathtivity where students "buy" ingredients to make a pizza. Then they count and draw coins on their meal ticket. Great for display!
