This resource is intended for Preschool and Kindergarten. It includes many resources to supplement your existing curriculum and can also be used as a stand alone.
Day 1 Introduce the letter using the poster, word wall card, sign language card and puppet set. The children use the puppet set to make up stories. Task is to make the stand up animal.
Day 2 Teaching letter writing. Model using the anchor charts.
Day 3 Nursery poem or song. Find and circle the target letter.
Day 4 Letter book . Trace and color pictures with initial sound
Day 5 Make the crown tracing the picture and writing the letter
The following common core standards are addressed throughout this package:
RF.K.1d: Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet.
RF.K.4: Read emergent-reader texts with purpose and understanding
RF.K.2: Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes).
Each letter includes a Nursery Rhyme.
The sight words introduced through the Nursery Rhymes are:

for, be, up ,little, am, are, we, some, no, go, with
Sight words are reinforced through printables and flash cards
Word Families are also introduced- an, en, ig, in, it, op
