Includes both the plant and animal cell!
I have found mapping activities to be an excellent way for students to learn the different parts of the cell.
When students map a cell, they assign colors and/or patterns to each organelle they need to identify. They fill in the key and the corresponding organelle.
This file includes two types of cells with four pictures each. Please download the preview to see all pages associated with this product.
You can have your students use solid colors to differentiate between the parts or you can let them run wild and choose patterns and designs. Either way, this activity is great for referencing what they’ve learned. It also works well as a classroom and hallway bulletin board display.
