Target those early pronoun concepts of: I, you, he, she, they and we with three different activities!
Manipulatives: Students will choose a character and create a mini puppet with a wooden popsicle stick. Using containers (instructions included), students will have opportunities to either place characters at locations or doing an action or to describe who is at the location/action.
Interactive books: Two books, "Where are we?" and "What are we doing?" follow repetitive formats that allow students to see the difference between I, he, she and we. Read the book and have the student place the correct character in place. Allows for quick memorization and early success! The third book, "Our School Day," follows a simple narrative with a focus on "I" and "we."
Cooperative game: Each player chooses 1-2 character mats. Character/location cards are placed in the center of play. Location mats are placed within reach. As a student draws a card, they will match it to the correct character/location. Once they see that all players have matching location cards in hand "we can go to (location)!" Decide ahead of time which location(s) the group wants to go to for non-competitive "winning"!
Includes six (6) different characters, thirteen (13) different locations, thirteen (13) different actions
