Description

Children love to play! That's why I created this pack of simple, ready-to-print and assemble, literacy and math activities for your students to learn through play!

Here is what's included:

  • St. Patrick's Day Writing -> a variety of paper and a vocabulary chart to help students write about St. Patrick's Day
  • Capture the Gold -> sight word game
  • Fill the Pot -> roll both die, either add or take away counters and fill the pot
  • Dot the Rainbow -> work on fine motor skills and use Q-tips to dot colours of the rainbow (various worksheets included)
  • Skip Counting to the Rainbow -> order the numbers by 2's, 5's, or 10's and jump on them all the way until you reach the rainbow
  • Rainbow Match -> match the uppercase/lowercase or rhyming words together
  • CVC Build a Word -> use the letter coins to spell CVC words
  • Shamrock Addition -> add coins (or any loose parts) to solve addition sentences
  • Playdough Mats -> roll playdough and add that many balls to each 10-frame
  • Counting Coins -> stamp (bingo daubers/cork with paint, stampers, etc.) that many coins on each page of this booklet
  • Lucky Hat Letters -> hide letter cards in a sensory bin (I filled mine with black beans) and have students search for them and write letter on recording sheet
  • Tricky Patterns -> AB, ABC, AABB, ABB, AAB patterns are included along with a worksheet to make your own

Note: I added the following materials to this set (which you probably already have around your house/classroom):
