"Ferris Wheel" is an original upbeat tune in triple meter. It has become my students' favorite song to move to, sing, and perform. Simple Tonic-Dominant chord progression and a clear AB form leads to endless possibilities, from creating simple dances to transferring chord roots to classroom percussion instruments and adding ukulele accompaniment. This teaching sequence is designed for Music Learning Theory inspired classroom.
