"Let's Read" series is designed for the Music Learning Theory inspired classroom.
"Let's Read" Rhythm is a learning sequence designed to help students transfer their music listening, speaking, and thinking skill to written notation.
This teaching tool begins with reading two-measure patterns, and ends with reading and performing a 16-measure composition. Once students can chant and perform these patterns, we transfer it to rhythm instruments, recorders (practicing on single pitches), or ukuleles (using as strum patterns).
LEVEL THREE includes rhythm patterns in duple meter, 2/4 time signature. Level THREE is a combination of QUARTER notes, EIGHTH note PAIRS, and SIXTEENTH note quadruplets.
