This interactive game teaches students about how to draw chemical bonds and makes it fun while learning! Students roll the dice and get a new combination of elements to bond. They then draw the Lewis Dot structures and identify the chemical formula and chemical name. There are so many possibilities of what students can roll so they always have a new problem to work out! Throw out those worksheets and start putting the learning in their hands.
This editable document allows you to make as many different combinations of elements on the dice as you want. The product comes with the dice template already made, but I also provide a blank template so you can personalize the game.
This game should be used after teaching students how to draw Bohr models and transitioning to using Lewis Dot Structures. The teacher should also have gone over naming convention for ionic and covalent compounds.
I hope you enjoy it as much as my classes do. Please leave feedback and any suggestions or success stories!
