I used this as a book report project and my kids LOVED it!! Each students read a chapter book (in their guided reading group) and then completed a rough copy of their book report: Characters, Setting, and Summary.
Copy the book report first page on manila or tan colored paper. I then had the students cut it out in the circle shape. I put all the pieces inside, layering them, and folded on the line so it looked like a taco. I stapled the left and right side to the bulletin board, so when the students pulled flaps down, they could see all the story elements. I also included a second circle if you’d prefer to fold the taco wherever you want. The first one worked fine for me, as you can see from the bulletin board.
Use the letters provided to cut out the words “Let’s TACO ‘bout BOOKS” for your bulletin board. My bulletin board example is attached. I used a CAMEO to cut my letters out, but made these look similar to the ones I used. I used the same font for my letters!
