One of the most important lessons the young SLA student learns is how and when to use definite articles (el, la, los, las). Use this set of cards and review pages to help them reinforce what they're learning.
This product includes the following, all in Spanish:
* One set of "response" cards—one card for each article. The teacher will need to make enough copies for students. I've purposely used a different color for each article so that the teacher can tell from a glance whether students are holding up the right card.
* One set of 24 word-picture cards for the teacher to either read to the students or display on the screen. Each colorful card includes a picture with the word. Students hold up the cards with the correct article.
* Two review pages. One asks students to cut and paste the words under the correct article; the other asks students to write or draw their own words that go under each article.
* Seven task cards (including one blank for the teacher to add a question). Cards ask students to look around the room or elsewhere and give the correct definite article.
