After learning about Famous Americans during Social Studies, students can "vote" for which American or President is their favorite. Students can choose either George Washington, Betsy Ross, Barack Obama, or Abraham Lincoln by putting their name or picture on the appropriate column on a pocket chart.
When the whole class has voted, students use the worksheet provided to create a bar graph of class data. Students also write the class results in tally marks, as well as using standard numerals.
Students then can draw a picture, or write which American is their favorite.
Students can also campaign or write about who is their favorite, and why other students should vote for that person!
