This is my Kindergarten Journal Writing Prompts for Beginning Writers . This project was designed with the Pre-K, Transitional Kindergarten, and Kindergarten Students in mind. These journal pages can be used as generic writing prompts that can go with any center book or for a specific storybook or nursery rhythm. I have provided space for a drawing at the top of the paper. In the middle of the page, students have dotted lines on which to write their story. At the bottom, I have provided pictures for students to help facilitate story ideas and assist with pictures that can inspire drawings.
I have also provided vocabulary picture cards that can be used during a mini-lesson and / or in a pocket chart at a literacy center.
I would appreciate your feedback, so if you would please go to your My Purchases page. Beside each purchase you'll see a Provide Feedback button. Simply click it and you will be taken to a page where you can give a quick rating and leave a short comment for the product. Each time you give feedback, TPT gives you feedback credits that you use to lower the cost of your future purchases. I value your feedback greatly as it will help me to decide which projects that I will develop that will be of the most value as you work with your students.
