Use All Templates (page 2) to trace shapes onto colored paper. Use Raccoon Mass Templates (pages 3-5) to print shapes onto colored paper. You can also print on white paper and have students color the parts. Use Colored Raccoon Template (page 6) to print with colored ink onto white paper. Use Rabbit Mass Templates (pages 7-10) to print shapes onto colored paper. Use Colored Rabbit Templates (pages 11-13) to print colored ink onto white paper, but don't forget the rabbit tails on page 10!
Due to the number of shapes this project entails it is probably best to have shapes cut ahead of time.
I like to do these projects during literacy centers as a teacher or volunteer run center. This way students can receive direct instruction and can each have any help they may need. As there are both upper and lower case letters in this project, students will likely need more time to complete this project. Enjoy the letter Rr!
