Do you have students that consistently confuse letters despite your best efforts at intervention?
This packet is for you!
I have included practice with the letters students most often have difficulty with
b d p q h n u
The first16 pages include worksheets that can be used as independent work or homework. They provide extra practice these students need in discerning letter differences in a fun yet specific manner.
Race to the Capital
Students are each given a laminated copy of the letter car page with each of the letters. Students roll the dice and color in the arrows next to their letter that shows up on the dice.
Students race for their letter to reach the capital house.
Letter Confusion Puzzle Cars.
Cut and laminate the cars on card stock. Put together the matching sets of cards. Students build the puzzle to show all of the same letters. Puzzle cards are large and create an 8.5x11 size puzzle.
Large Flash Cards
Large 8.5x11 cards for each focus letter. Cards could be laminated and posted in the classroom, used as book covers if you decide to make a workbook out of these pages, or as coloring pages for your students.
Small Flash Cards
Each letter has four small cards. Students can use these cards for several different games.
Memory and Go Fish are the two games my students enjoy the most.
I hope you enjoy this packet! It is designed to be very student friendly and easy to incorporate into your lessons as needs for students who need a little extra intervention.
