LYRICS:

Eric elephant,
And a bee named Emily,
Eased into the deep blue,
Deep blue sea,
Looking for some letters,
Looking for some e’s
To help them spell their first names correctly!

We’re not looking for a g,
Or an h,
Or a t,
We’re just looking for some e’s,
The letter after d!

We’re not looking for a c,
Or an a,
Or a v,
We’re just looking for some e’s,
The letter after d!

Electric eel named Ed,
Said we’ll do it easily!
Once you learn your letter E,
Your letter e…
E’s the little letter,
That makes up part of me!
And all our names are starting,
With the letter E…

E says E (long and short sounds)
A letter that you’ll find,
And you’ll find it after D!
E says E (long and short sounds)
5th letter that you find,
And you find it after D!

Fifth letter of the alphabet,
You can count,
You can count and see…
ABC makes 1-2-3
But when’s the letter e?
A’s number 1,
B’s number 2,
C is number 3,
D makes 4,
Now count one more,
‘Cause next comes letter E

1-2-3-4
1-2-3-4-5
E!
1-2-3-4
1-2-3-4-5
E!

We’re not looking for a Q,
Or a U,
Or an R,
We’re just looking for some e’s,
The letter after D!
We’re not looking for an L,
Or an O,
Or W,
We’re just looking for some e’s,
The letter after D!

Eric elephant,
And the bee named Emily,
Found a big-big bunch of E’s
Floating in the sea..
They brought them to the sandy beach,
To share them with their pals,
A deer, a bear, an old Emu,
A bird they knew named Sal!

2 E’s to Deer,
1 to Bear,
And 1 to a cool Emu!
2 E’s to deer,
1 to bear,
1 for Emu from the Zoo!
They spelled those names,
Of party animals,
For everyone you see,
They spelled those names of animals,
With the letter E!

1-2-3-4
1-2-3-4-5
E!
1-2-3-4
1-2-3-4-5
E!

Eric elephant,
And the bee named Emily,
Were happy they had shared their e’s,
With nature’s family…
Feeling kind of tired,
They said it’s time to sleep,
They closed their eyes,
And dreamed of e’s,
They didn’t make a peep!
