I got this idea from our school's CODA (Occupational Therapist Aide). She used to push-in to my classroom and support with handwriting. The students would jump on a trampoline, the CODA would flash a letter, and the student jumping would clap (hands above head) if it was a tall tower, clap (hands in front of them) if it was a glue letter and clap (down low) if it was a dirt digger. We also used special paper that was highlighted yellow to represent the glue. I would send this handout home for students to also practice at home.
