Letter Formation Center: Hands on Sandbox Activity

Alphabet and letter formation hands on activity!

Studies have shown that students learn the best when they are participating in hands on activities. Giving kids an opportunity to use more than one sense during a learning activity helps create pathways that ensure they are retaining the information.

Students will love using their teacher created sandboxes to practice writing the letters of the alphabet! Kiddies pick a letter card and then spin the spinner. Depending on the number they get, students will practice tracing that letter in their sandbox the given amount of times.
