What educators are saying

Students used these during our alphabet centers. Liked having the pictures to go along with letter. Thanks for sharing!
I placed this in our class library. Students like tracing the letters. I also send this with a volunteer that comes to our room. She uses this with a small group of students.

Description

Letter formation practice that your little learners will love! This alphabet tracing book is just what you need to help your students with alphabet recognition, phonics development, and proper letter formation. Teach your students proper letter formation from day one with this book of large letter tracing pages. Each page contains an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, and an image.

Tracing letters is great prewriting practice for young students. This letter tracing book engages your students with bright and clear images, while at the same time ensuring that they know the proper letter formation. These alphabet letter pages make a great addition to any writing curriculum!

What’s Included:

  • Directions for Use
  • 34 Letter Cards with Images - Short and Long Vowel Included

This alphabet tracing practice is perfect for fine motor centers, literacy centers, reading groups, writing stations, morning work, early finishers, home support, and much more! Your students will love the visuals included in the tracing practice book and it will really help build that solid foundation for forming letters.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Print each alphabet picture card and trim to remove white edges. Laminate each card and bind together into a book for students to trace the letters step-by-step. For best results, have struggling students trace each page of the book while they recite the letter and picture name on the page.

Consistency is important for pre-emergent readers. This set of alphabet tracing cards works best when paired with coordinating alphabet resources. Alphabet Picture cards for display in a classroom are available in two background color schemes (black or white). Each set displays the same graphics as the alphabet tracing cards to help pre-emergent readers make essential letter-sound connections.

WHAT OTHER TEACHERS ARE SAYING…

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Thanks-these are great for my pre-k kids that are learning to write their letters properly.  We also use them for learning our letters and sounds.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I currently have these in my reading center so the kids can practice finger tracing with them. I have also used in circle time instruction. The kids enjoy them and I love them!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Research shows that tracing the alphabet is very effective for learning the alphabetic principle. This resource is GREAT. I used the tracing letters and applied our own keyword pictures. Thanks for your hard work.
