Students love using the pocket chart and this packet makes using the pocket chart easy and fun! A wonderful addition to any letter of the week program or for use as a word work activity, my Alphabet Fun for Everyone unit is a great activity to start the year with! Students will get the practice they need identifying words that begin with each letter of the alphabet and with tracing each letter. I have included 2 different worksheets so that you can differentiate based on the needs of your students.
For the vowels, I have included a combination of words that begin with both the long and short vowel sound. For example, on the worksheet for the letter ‘a’ I have included words like “apple” and “apron.”
For the letter ‘x,’ the ‘x’ can be found at the end of each word that is included. For example, students must put the word “box” next to the correct sentence but will then be asked to trace the letter ‘x.’
If you have any additional questions about this item, please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you again for taking a look!
