This is a learning activity or game that can be used as a literacy center or as an individual learning tool in the special education room, while co-teaching, or in the regular education classroom as an independent learning center. The focus of this activity is letter identification. The learning game was designed to establish letter identification in student's long-term memory. There is also a positive incentive system worked into the activity itself. This activity can be used for varied amounts of time throughout the school year and is easily modified for special education and gifted students. I have been using this activity for several years. Students love it and have made a lot of progress using this activity with increased MAPS and Dibles scores.
