Incorporate letters into all parts of your classroom with this letter themed activity and center packet. Practice letter recognition while learning math and language arts skills for pre-k and kindergarten. There are centers to incorporate letters into math, reading, writing, art, blocks and sensory centers. Play games and make books to help solidify the letter knowledge!

Pages 2-3: Letter L Posters: Two varieties to choose from.

Pages 4-6: Letter L Word Wall Cards

Pages 7-8: Letter Matching Pages: Page 7 is in black and white and page 8 is in color. Print the desired page out twice to be able to make a matching game.

a. Play like a traditional concentration/matching game

b. Hide the pairs in a sensory bin for students to find and match.

c. Hide the cards around the room and have the students find the letters.

Page 9: Picture Matching Page: Print this page out twice. Students will match pairs of pictures that begin with the letter L.

Pages 10-12: Spelling Puzzles: Students will spell words that begin with the letter L with these self correcting puzzles.

Pages 13-14: Counting Puzzles: Students will put together letter puzzles by counting to 10.

Pages 15-16: A find the picture page and answer sheet. Count the objects on the picture page and tally the number on the answer sheet.

Page 17: Color each object the color indicated.

Page 18: Cut and Paste: Students will cut out the pictures and glue the ones that start with the letter L on the light bulb.

Pages 19-24: Emergent Reader: Students will create their own book about letter L words.

Pages 25-26: Reading Strips: Students will read sentences about letter L words. “L is for _______.”

Pages 27-28: Letter Recognition Pages: Student will color all the letter Ls on their page. There is one page for the capital L and one page for the lowercase L.

Pages 29-32: Letter Tracing Pages: One set with lines and one set without lines. One capital and one lowercase letter page with each type of page. Place pages in page protectors or laminate and use dry erase markers for repeated use.

Pages 32-35: Tracing Cards: Print, cut apart and laminate. Use dry erase markers to practice tracing the letters.
