Find the Spider Game
How to play:
This game can be used to practice letter names or sounds, whichever you prefer. There is a card for each capital and lower case letter in the alphabet. Print the cards. Cut them out. You could laminate or print on card stock for durability. Lay the cards flat on a table hiding one of the spiders behind one of the cards. Do not let students see you hide it. Students will take turns reading the letter on the card or saying the sound one by one. After they read a card correctly they can lift the card and see if they found the spider. Whoever finds the spider first is the winner! Could be played whole group also using a pocket chart. Students will love practicing letters and sounds with this game!
