***lower case activities added as well on 8/25/16!!!***
Do you have volunteers that show up to help out in your Kindergarten classroom? (lucky you)
Do you quickly hand them a book or an activity?
Do you sometimes wish you had something better that you could give them to do?
I did too!
So, I made this letter-naming intervention kit to use this year. I have been testing it out this summer on my four year old and am very happy with the results.
The purpose of this kit is to familiarize students with alphabetical order, and reinforce letter naming of CAPITAL letters.
I have included:
A detailed direction page/ sample lesson sequence for beginner volunteers.
A less-detailed direction page/sample lesson sequence for more experienced volunteers.
A simple recording sheet for volunteer to keep track of who they worked with and what they did.
Alphabet Matching cards
Write the Alphabet Pages
Capital Letter Flash Cards
Alphabet Fluency Cards
Some of these materials are also included in The Alphabet Tool Kit
For best results you might want to use these items in addition to the materials in this download.
A capital letter foam or plastic alphabet
A container of sand or salt
1 Plastic sleeve
1 Dry Erase Marker.
I hope this helps you out in your classroom.
Best wishes on an awesome year!
