Print these alphabet and number cards on card stock and your students will LOVE pushing a push-pin through the card and into the carpet to create a textured letter or number. No carpet in your classroom??? No problem. Visit your local carpet store and ask for some carpet squares.
This activity really helps students to notice all of the details about each of the 52 letters (upper and lowercase) and the numerals from zero to ten while developing their fine-motor skills and eye-hand coordination. They will love taping their punched card on the window to allow the light to flow through their letters or numbers! Have FUN with this one and be sure to leave feedback and visit my blog: kfundamentals.blogspot.com
