Concept Cards are similar to flash cards, but result in children learning more than just definitions. They encourage children to look at words in context and use the words in their own sentences. These concept cards can be used when introducing children to consonant and vowel sounds to help them identify the letter associated with each sound, as is a great complement to the “Letter ‘P‘ Alphabet Counting Book”.
Using ASL Concept Cards can also help children to identify letter names; increase vocabulary; improve fine motor skills; learn new concepts, and build overall communication skills to become a more engaged learner.
This printable activity is suitable for preschool, kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades.
