PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The beginning of the year is all about working with names! This set of blackline masters contains the outline of 'people'. Each person is build on an uppercase letter, and there are two people representing each letter. Since one letter is represented by a person wearing shorts, the activity allows gender neutral choices. Children color and decorate the letter person, then an actual head and shoulders shot of the child is added to make the 'letter person' very personal. Letter People make an attractive display for parent-teacher nights, but can be used all year for sorting, matching, and developing phonemic awareness and letter knowledge. Some center suggestions are included.
