Looking for a way to build fine motor skills while working on those letter names? These punch strips are the perfect way to target multiple skills at one time. I print them on fun, colored paper and set them in a morning work tub along with a hole puncher as a choice for my kiddos to grab when they get to school. As part of their clean up, they deposit the punches into a small bucket so we can make Kinder Confetti! :) This could also be used in a Word Work center, intervention activity, or a skills group activity.
The letter in the center can be found approximately 9 times around the edge of the strip. You should be able to quickly see whether or not your students need reteaching of a specific letter (or reteaching of the directions - because sometimes that happens) by quickly eyeballing the number of punched out letters.
This pack includes 3 punch strips for each letter of the alphabet.
