This download includes 26 uppercase letter cards with graphic, 26 lowercase letter cards with graphic, and 26 beginning sounds puzzles. Each are included in both color and black and white versions.
These cards are super-versatile and could be used for:
-drilling letter names and sounds
-word wall labels
-use upper and lower case sets together to play memory, find the match, Go Fish!
-use target letters (those you are using in instruction) and their accompanying puzzles at literacy centers
-use letters to create words in a pocket chart
-Have students (especially language learners) practice oral language using the cards. “This is an apple. Apple starts with ‘a’.”
-Print the pages and don’t cut them apart to use as reference pages in student notebooks or binders.
-Post them as reference at your word work or guided reading tables.
The possibilities are endless, really!
