Product Description
The Perfect Game or Center to Practice Letter Recognition!

Use this Letter Recognition Game to practice and review uppercase and/or lowercase letters of the alphabet!

Instructions for this game are included in this file as well as three other fun games that can be played with these cards, too! You’ll also find some great differentiation tips and ideas to reach your learners no matter where they are in the letter recognition process! All of the games described in this file can be played with 2 to 10 players, using all 26 letters or just the letters you want your student(s) to practice!

DIFFERENTIATE:
• There are two sets of cards included in this game: one lower-level set and one higher-level set:
• The lower-level (LL) set includes a matching picture on the uppercase letter’s card and the lowercase letter’s card! This supports students who are just learning to recognize letters of the alphabet or those who might be struggling with this skill by helping them recall or match an uppercase form to its lowercase form with the matching pictures.
• The higher-level (HL) set removes that scaffolding of the matching picture to support students’ development in recognizing upper- and lowercase forms of letters independently. There is still puppy clipart, created by the incredible Kate Hadfield Designs, on all of the cards, but the clipart on the upper- and lowercase forms of letters do not match.
• This game also can be played with all of the cards OR with only the cards featuring letters that have already been taught.
• This game is GREAT for one-on-one, small groups, centers, or intervention.

OTHER GAME IDEAS:
These cards are also perfect for other learning games, including the following:
•Memory/Concentration, Go Fish, Snap, Headbandz
(Instructions for these four additional games are included in the file!)
